Welcome to the Southern California District of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ!
The SCD of LCMC has begun working together to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations.
We welcome pastors, leaders and individuals and like minded, biblically faithful Lutheran congregations in Southern California, who share a passion for reaching the lost, to partner together in our mission to bring people in our unique neighborhoods into a growing relationship with Christ.
Through networking, shared events and resources, and supporting one another, we seek to help our congregations to be a vibrant expression of the church in their communities and to equip and empower all believers to do ministry together, planting new churches and reaching the unchurched world with the radical message of the gospel of Christ. We hope that you will embrace this new challenge and opportunity to partner with us as we focus together on what it means to be the church and our mission in Southern California and in the world.
